The Administration module
contains all of the administrative controls that are needed to setup and run
FUSION on a day to day basis. The major set of controls brakes down into to
distinct groups: security and options list.
- System Code includes items like editing the BOG categories that are
used. For example, most of the options found in combo-boxes or options
lists would be defined in this section of the Administration module.
- View/Edit
Cost Guidelines allows users to setup cost limitations for
associated Room Use and TOP Codes.
- Setup
Roomuse/TOP Code Logic allows users to setup the relationships
between room use codes and TOP codes.
- Setup User Security Roles
allows the administrators to define who has access to what portions of the
FUSION system. Examples of security rights to assign would include
assigning specialists to districts and assigning users to districts.
There are functions that allow district level administrators to add
users to the district’s user group and assign security rights at a district
level.
- Setup District Owners
allows administrators to configure what FPU members are associated with
certain districts.
- Setup
AB1473 System Variables allows administrators to specify the annual
AB1473 variables.
In order to use any of these functions, users must have administrator
capabilities. These functions are available from the Admin box on the
FUSION splash screen, displayed immediately after login.
Additionally, on the home login page, the box for the Default Planning
Year is displayed, which allows the FUSION Administrator to set the current
default planning year of FUSION. This should only be done once all
plans in a given year have been validated and approved by the FPU. |
