Once you are ready to setup your
Grants for the year, go to the State Funded - LAP node in your
district, select the New Agreement button in the upper left portion of the
agreement screen and select the New Grant option.
IMPACT will create a new grant on the tree. Simply fill out the name of the grant with the information appropriate to the grant (i.e. If it is a Hazardous Materials grant, enter HMXX where XX represents the FY of the grant. If it is a Scheduled Maintenance grant, enter SMXX.YY where XX represents the FY of the grant and YY represents the grant number given by the FPU.)
Now you're ready to create a project under your grant. Select the New Agreement button again in the upper left corner and choose the New LA Project option. IMPACT will then create a new local assistance project. When saving the project, make sure that the name of the project matches exactly with the name of the project in FUSION. You will then need to enter in contractors underneath your local assistance project. For each contractor, select the New Agreement button and select the New Contractor option. You will then get an agreement screen for the contractor. Fill out the appropriate information. Any payments made on this contractor will be available to be included in your expense recap sheets in FUSION.
