Purpose:

This report will be used to help to identify needed or excess ASF within each district and campus. Districts can use the information provided in the report to plan and develop future building projects which meet the reported space deficiencies. The district's 5YP data is the source for the data displayed.

The report is broken out by year, then by campus. The first detail line for each Campus shows the beginning ASF needed by Title 5 Category. Each project with a matching occupy date is listed, subtracting the associated ASF from each category, giving the final need for the campus after all projects are considered for that planning year.

The calculation for Lab needed ASF uses an average lab ASF/100 WSCH. A footnote is added to the bottom of the report to identify that an average is used and to identify the calculated number. The same calculation is added to the 5 Year Construction Plan report for consistency across reports.

The start and end ASF for each Campus and District Total ASF may be either positive or negative. Negative numbers indicate the Campus or District is over built.

Data Displayed:

  • District Name (if system level report)
  • FY
  • Campus Name
  • Project Name
  • Title V ASF (ie Lecture, Lab, etc)
